Founded in 1995, Theralase Technologies (TSXV: TLT) designs, develops and manufactures patented, superpulsed non-thermal laser technology for the safe and effective treatment of pain associated with nerve, muscle and joint conditions. Theralase has partnered with leading research institutes, including Toronto’s Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, University Health Network, to advance our scientific and clinical knowledge of how to best optimize the therapeutic effects of non-thermal laser technology.
Recognizing that Chiropractors are well positioned to be the primary healthcare provider for patients with musculoskeletal conditions, who can vastly benefit from non-thermal laser therapy for non-drug pain relief, Theralase has partnered with the Canadian Chiropractic Association and became the Social Media Sponsor of the National Convention, which was held in Niagara Falls on September 18th -20th. As part of the sponsorship, Theralase created an “Activity Pod” which featured live laser technology demonstrations, and provided scientific information to help Chiropractors understand the essential considerations when evaluating different laser technologies. Chiropractors across Canada learned about the key differences between a Class 3B and Class 4 laser, how Superpulsed laser at specific wavelengths contribute to treatment efficacy, and the business support that Theralase provides to customers to grow their practice. To further support professional development of chiropractors, Theralase also sponsored a presentation by Dr. James Gregg on Advanced Biomechanics Assessments and Healing Technologies. Feedback from the audience was excellent, which is a big encouragement for us to continue develop a strong partnership.
We appreciate feedback from Chiropractors across Canada. Tell us how you would like us to support you through our website www.theralase.com. See you all at the next National Convention!
